Baden style lentils with spätzle

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 200 grams green lentils
  • 125 grams cream
  • 125 milliliters milk
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 milliliters vegetable broth
  • 4 portions of spätzle

Preparation method (receipt)

Soak lentils for 2 hours, Chop peeled onion and garlic, sauté in the vegetable oil. Add lentils, broth, sour cream, milk and cream, mix well, cook on low heat until lentils become soft.Season with salt, pepper and thyme, serve with spätzle.
