Königsberg marzipan

Ingredients

  • 500 grams almonds
  • 500 grams icing sugar
  • 5 bitter almonds
  • rose water
  • candied lemon
  • candied orange
  • candied cherry

Preparation method (receipt)

Blanch bitter almonds and sweet almonds, peel them, cool and grind with icing sugar. Knead the mixture and grind in a mill again. Repeat the process 3 times. Add the rose water to make an elastic mixture, mix with candied fruits. Form figures and place them on the wooden board, place under a hot grill for a few moments to glaze the top. Cool and serve.
