Spätzle with apples


  • 500 grams flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 milliliters water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 sour apples
  • cinnamon
  • sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Preparation method (receipt)

Mix flour, eggs, salt and water. Prepare a smooth dough as for traditional spätzle. Using a special spätzle grater is deposited in salted boiling water and cook until tender. Peel and cut apples into thin slices. Melt the butter and fry the apples, reduce heat and simmer until apples are tender. Add spätzle, warm and serve, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.
