Quince jelly


  • 1 kilogram quinces
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 piece of anise
  • 3 cloves sticks
  • water
  • 1 kilogram gelling sugar

Preparation method (receipt)

Wash quince, cored, cut into slices. Put in a saucepan, add spices and pour water so that it only covered the fruit. Cook over low heat for 2 hours. Strain through a fine sieve or cloth. Measure 1 liter of juice and boil with sugar, gelling 4 minutes, pour into sterilized jars and roll.
