Stollen (Christmas cake)

Ingredients

  • 500 grams flour
  • 1 package of baking powder
  • 150g sugar
  • 1 package of vanilla sugar
  • 1 bottle of rum extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 drops of lemon flavoring, 4 drops of flavor \"bitter almond\"
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 250g pasty cottage cheese
  • 175 grams butter
  • 125 grams raisins
  • 100g ground almonds
  • 100 grams ground hazelnuts
  • 200 grams candied lemon
  • 50g candied orange
  • 50 grams dried currants
  • sugar powder
  • 50 grams butter

Preparation method (receipt)

Sift the flour on the board, make a hole on the top and add the other ingredients. Add 175 grams melted butter, knead well. Form an oval sausage. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, bake the Stollen on medium level for 50 minutes. Grease the cake with 50 grams of butter and sprinkle with sugar powder.
