Spanakotiropita - feta-spinach pie


  • 1 kilogram spinach
  • 300 grams shallots
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • 300 grams feta cheese
  • 0.5 cup of concentrated milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 0,5 cup of olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 500 grams puff pastry

Preparation method (receipt)

Wash spinach, chop, season with salt, mix well and squeeze. Chop shallot and add chopped 1 bunch dill, 300 grams crumbled feta cheese, condensed milk, whipped eggs and olive oil. Mix thoroughly. Season with salt, pepper and season with nutmeg to taste. Grease a baking dish with olive oil and put half the sheets of puff pastry (each grease), put stuffing and cover with the remaining dough sheet. Bake for 50-60 minutes in the oven.
