Southern Baden style pork


  • 1400 grams pork (bone-in smoked pork shoulder )
  • 0.5 liter dry white wine
  • 1 onion, sliced in half
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 clove sticks, 8 peppercorns
  • 2 peas of fragrant pepper
  • 5 juniper berries, crushed
  • salt

Preparation method (receipt)

Wash the meat. Bring to a boil the wine with 1 liter of water, onion,garlic and spices. Pour the broth over the meat and cook on low heat for 2 hours. Bone and slice thinly.
