Potato casserole with apple and celery


  • 750 grams starchy potatoes
  • 500 grams celery
  • 2 apples
  • 4 sprigs of thyme
  • 300 grams cream, 100 grams diced bacon
  • 200 milliliters milk
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • freshly grated nutmeg
  • 100 grams cheese \"Appenzeller\"
  • butter for the form

Preparation method (receipt)

Wash and clean celery and potatoes. Cut into thin pieces 3 millimeters thick. Wash apples, delete a core, cut into thick pieces 5 millimeters thick. Pluch the thyme leafs, cut very small. Warm the oven up to 200 degrees Celsius. Oil the haetproof form. Mix up cream and milk withgarlic denticle passed through the press, boil on faint fire for 2-3 minutes. Flavour with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix and lay out to the form potatoes, slab bacon, celery, apple, and thyme, slain on prepared pouring, strew witn grated cheeze and bread-crumb (on request). Bake in warmed-up to 180 degrees Celsius oven for 35 minutes.
