Pickled white sausages


  • 6 small Nuremberg sausages
  • 250 milliliters beef broth
  • 25 milliliters 5% white vinegar
  • 2 juniper berries
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 0,25 ground black pepper
  • 50 milliliters white wine
  • 1 onion

Preparation method (receipt)

Pour the broth in the saucepan, add vinegar wine and spices. Cut onion into semicircles and add to the broth. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Place Nuremberg sausages in the marinade and cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Serve sausages in the broth with grated horseradish and rye bread.
