Mutton with dried apricots


  • 2 onions
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons turmeric
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoons sweet paprika powder
  • ground black pepper
  • 600 grams mutton (neck or shoulder)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
  • 250 milliliters broth
  • 125 milliliters cream
  • 125 grams dried apricots
  • 2 red peppers

Preparation method (receipt)

Peel and chop onions and garlic, add turmeric, soy sauce, paprika and pepper. Cut mutton into cubes, marinate in a mixture from above and let it stand in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, fry the meat in butter, add the broth, cream and simmer for 20 minutes. Soak apricots in hot water, cut into strips. Also chop the peppers. Add to meat, simmer 15 minutes, and season to taste.
