Mushroom Stroganoff


  • 600 grams champignons or other mushrooms
  • 300 grams sweet pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 onion
  • 3 pickled cucumbers
  • 125 milliliters red wine
  • 200 grams cream
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sweet paprika powder
  • 250 milliliters vegetable broth

Preparation method (receipt)

Clean mushrooms and cut into slices. Onions and pickled cucumbers cut into small cubes. Preheat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms when they become brown color, remove them. Again, add the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion, peppers and cucumbers 5 minutes. Pour the wine, water and cream, bring to a boil, return the mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes. Dissolve starch in 2 tablespoons of cold water, thicken sauce with this mixture, add mustard and spices.
