In Dortmund style potatoe and onion soup


  • 500 grams onions, finely chopped
  • 800 grams potatoes, chopped
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1 liter vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 fresh sausages
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • fresh chives

Preparation method (receipt)

Saute onions and potatoes in butter, pour broth and simmer until tender about 15 minutes. Make a smoothie blender, add the mustard, salt and pepper. Fry the sausages until golden, cut into circles and add to the soup. Serve sprinkled with chopped chives.
