Franz's cinnamon buns


  • For the dough: 1 cube of fresh yeast
  • 200 milliliters warm milk
  • 500 grams flour
  • 75 grams butter
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt
  • For the filling: 75 grams butter
  • 125 grams mixtures of sugar with cinnamon

Preparation method (receipt)

Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk, add other dough ingredients. Cover the dough with towel and leave at 40 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes, press down, leave for another 20 minutes. Roll out into a rectangle ( 40 x 60 centimeters ), butter, sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mixture. Roll up, cut into buns. Let to rise for 15 minutes an bake in the oven at 250 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
