Duck with apples, prunes and shpik


  • 1 cup of red wine
  • 1 cup of water
  • 250 grams prunes
  • 1 duck (about 1.8 kg)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 sour apples
  • 0.5 lemon
  • 100 grams bacon with meat veins
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 125 milliliters boiling water
  • 20 grams flour
  • 125 milliliters cream

Preparation method (receipt)

Mix water and red wine, soak prunes in a mixture for 1 hour. Wash duck, dry, rub inside and out with salt and pepper. Wash apples, dry, cut out the core and cut into slices and sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut bacon into cubes, mix with apples and prunes, fill minced duck and sew with culinary thread. Put the duck in the roasting pan, add vegetable oil and bake 90 minutes at 200 degrees, basting occasionally precipitated juice. Add the boiling water into the pan and put the remaining fruit and bacon, bake for another 10 minutes. Put the duck and vegetables, add baking flour and cream over low heat for 10 minutes, boil down, to submit to the duck sauce and fruit.
