Chicory salad


  • 0,25 cloves of chicory
  • 0,25 small onions
  • 40 grams smoked bacon
  • 0,5 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 0,75 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • pinch of sugar
  • salt and pepper

Preparation method (receipt)

Chop and mash chicory, place it in the warm water to make soft and less bitter. Dice finely peeled onion. Slice finely bacon and fry in a dry pan until crispy crust. Whisk the vegetable oil, white wine vinegar and sugar. Drain chicory, dry. Combine onion, chicory and dressing in a bowl, pepper and salt to taste, sprinkle with fried bacon.
