Cheese dumplings


  • 500 grams bread dumplings
  • 4 eggs
  • 300 grams cheese
  • 150 milliliters milk
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • ground nutmeg

Preparation method (receipt)

Mix eggs with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Dice coarsely the cheese. Wash the parsley, dry and chop. Heat gently the milk. Sauté onion in the olive oil. Pour the milk over bread dumplings and let them rise. Mix all ingredients and form round dumplings, boil in salted water on low heat for 15-20 minutes until done.
