Cake "The Prince- regent"


  • For the dough: 250 grams butter
  • 1 package of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • salt
  • 200 grams flour
  • 50 grams cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder For the filling: 1 package of vanilla pudding powder
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 500 milliliters milk
  • 50 grams coconut oil
  • 200 grams butter for the icing: 150g icing sugar, 25g cocoa powder
  • 20 grams butter or coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons hot water (if necessary)

Preparation method (receipt)

Rub the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar. Add eggs, pinch of salt, sifted flour with starch and knead the dough. Bake 8 shortcakes (diameter - 26 centimeters) in the oven , preheated to 220 degrees Celsius, for 5-7 minutes, shortcakes shouldn't be too dark. Col ready shortcakes. Mix 6 tablespoons milk with cocoa powder and chocolate pudding powder. Bring to a boil the remaining milk, remove from the heat, add the pudding mixture and heat again, boil until the mixture get thick, remove from the heat and cool. Whisk the butter, stirring occasionally and adding the chocolate creme. Grease each shortcake with creme, build a cake. Make the glaze: mix sugar powder, cocoa powder and melted butter until thick paste. Grease the cake and serve.
