Beans with pears and lard


  • 4 slices of bacon(0.5 centimetersthick)
  • 1 large onion
  • 500 grams green beans
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 500 grams waxy potatoes
  • syrup from a can of pears
  • 4 pears
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • pepper
  • water

Preparation method (receipt)

Place the bacon and chopped onion in the 3/4 liter water with 1/4 syrup and boil for 20 minutes. Wash green beans and place them with thyme into the pot, boil for another 15 minutes. Add diced potatoes and slice of pear, stew for 15 minutes. Soak the flour in the cold water and pour over the ragout, ring to a boil, season to taste and serve.
