Apple-onion confiture


  • 500 grams onions
  • 500 grams sour apples
  • 3 thyme sprigs
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 200 milliliters white balsamic vinegar
  • 500 grams gelling sugar

Preparation method (receipt)

Peel apples and onions, and cut into small cubes. Remove the leaves from the sprigs of thyme, add the onion, cinnamon stick, balsamic, apple and sugar and leave for 30 minutes. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the cinnamon, expand in sterilized jars and roll.
